Empower Hour

What is Empower Hour?

Empower Hour is Greenleaf Friends Church’s version of Sunday School. From 10-11 every Sunday morning we take an hour to empower our community as we journey through life together. We provide class options for all ages, so no matter who you are you can find a place you fit.

Adult Classes

Current Empower Hour classes for adults are

  • “Core 52” Rm. 102
  •  Life Lessons from Galatians, Rm. 103

  • “That the World May Know” Rm. 105  (Fireside Room)

  • Read through the Bible, Church Basement

Youth Classes

Empower Hour classes for 7th-12th graders are located in The Commons at Greenleaf Friends Academy right next door to the church. Friendly faces will point you in the right direction and guide youth to the correct classes. Youth are invited to arrive to Empower Hour early at 9:45 for food and fellowship before class

Children's Classes

Empower Hour classes for ages 0-6th grade are located upstairs in the Education Wing.

  • Nursery (ages 0-2) Rm. 202
  • Age 3-Kindergarten Rm. 204
  • 1st-3rd grade Rm. 203
  • 4th-6th grade Rm. 205

  • The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry by John Mark Comer, Rm 103

  • A 12-week study of the “Gospel of Mark“, Rm. 105 (Fireside Room)
