New to Greenleaf Friends Church?
What’s it like at Greenleaf Friends Church? We are a community of followers of Jesus Christ who worship together and serve alongside each other as we care for each other and share the good news of life in Christ Jesus with others. Our purpose is to bring people to Jesus, develop them to Christ-like maturity and equip them for their ministry, in order to magnify God’s name. No matter what has happened in the past or what questions you might have, our church is a place where you’ll find the love, grace, and forgiveness that only Jesus offers.
What should I expect?
HOW LONG WILL I BE THERE?
Our Sunday school, which we call Empower Hour is from 10-11 every Sunday morning. Following that we have worship service in the sanctuary from 11-12. You are welcome to leave at that time or stay a while for chatting and fellowship in the foyer.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Each Sunday we see everything from jeans to Easter dresses and from cargo shorts to suits. If you would wear it to work or school, it is welcome here.
WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS?
Childcare is available for ages 0-2 during Empower Hour and Worship Service. There are Empower Hour classes for all ages. Children age 3- 3rd grade are dismissed for Children’s Church midway through worship service. Of course, if you are more comfortable keeping your kids with you, they are always welcome wherever you are.
